As I restore my '31, I'm considering a hard metal top instead of the fabric top. For my wet climate on the Pacific Northwest coast, I'd be hesitant to take the truck out for winter holiday events if it had the original style fabric top.
Does anyone know of a business that makes a formed panel to replace the cab top? Rather than reinvent the wheel and try to form one, perhaps someone has figured this out and has made a hundred of them.
Any suggestions?
