Seat wood patterns
Seat wood patterns
I'm needing to replace the wood on the seat springs for my '31 before I take them to the upholsterer. Is there a pattern for seat wood out there?

I didn't think there was any wood in the seats.

Re: Seat wood patterns
That is correct - no wood for the seat or seat back springs.

Re: Seat wood patterns
thanks Bob and Neil,
The seat back and seat bottom had wood slats on the bottom inner perimeter when I bough the truck. Makes me wonder if the springs are for another vehicle.
I see that the catalogs have different springs for the various Model A vehicles. Are there measurements specific for the pickup cabs that I could use to check and see if I have the right springs?

Re: Seat wood patterns
A 1931 cab would be the 82-B closed cab. The sellers of springs should be able to provide the correct springs. I don't know of anything showing measurements.wild4679 wrote: ↑January 4th, 2018, 7:12 pmthanks Bob and Neil,
