Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
Thanks for the tip. I wasn't sure which ones to get. I'm not particular to left vs right, just want them to fit.

Nut on back? Maybe I'm using wrong term. I'm looking for the bolt that holds lug nut on for rear wheel. Drivers side.

Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
The ones they show in the parts book for the rear 1928-29 don't use nuts on the back of the stud. AA-1118-AR R.H.
and AA-1119-AR L.H.
Bob
and AA-1119-AR L.H.

Bevel Gear axle and not Worm Gear? That sounds like an Early 1930 model to me. Go with the 1930 parts book.

Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
Kaboom, do the wheels on your truck have 5, or 6 handholes? That should resolve the confusion.
Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
Mine is June of 1929 according to engine number. 5 hand holes on rims.

Five handholes is 1930-31, are you sure you don't have an early 1930?
Post some pictures of your truck.

Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
Your wheel design does not agree with the engine id date (most AA's don't have the original engine).
Look at http://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-1000-wheels/ - your wheels are for 1930 to 1931 AA's.

Kaboom you have an early 1930 truck with a replaced engine. Does your engine even have an "AA" serial number, or just "A"? Too bad you have not been able to view the correct original serial number for your truck that is on the frame.

Re: Wheel stud and wheel nut
Look at your steering wheel. Is it the '28/'29 type or the '30/'31 type?
