how do you shift a warford while moving?

3 gear in direct drive, to shift to warford OD how so?? i tried double clutch, tried reeving engine up and then shifting? does not want to shift. any veteran warford on the fly shifters????

You would only want to rev the engine up in neutral when you are down shifting not up shifting.

With mine I reach shifting speed (40-45), throw out the clutch then shift immediately into OD. The trans oil temp changes after warms up so shifting pattern/timing will change. One truck I had required immediate double-clutching (no pause) then shove it into od.

It would be wonderful if someone would have new gear sets made. I know I would buy one. Helical cut gears would be a great bonus.
