What is the torque spec for the bolts that hold the axle to the main gear on a worm drive?

Re: Axle bolt torque
Are you asking about the bolts that hold the carrier together?

Re: Axle bolt torque
Mat,
Those bolts use castle nuts and cotter pins. They should be tightened very snug and then tightened more to allow the cotter pins to be inserted. I don't know of any torque specifications.
