Model A distributor, there is a collar on the shaft right below the housing. It looks like it has a pin through it to hold it on the shaft. How is it removed, I tried driving it through, couldn't move it. Anyone had this problem, or have an answer.

Yes, it is a pin that you can drive out with a hammer and a drift punch. It’s a .125 diameter pin. Support the collar with two wooden popsicle sticks sitting on a bench vise with a slight gap under the pin and drive it out. Grind or file the drift punch side flush with the collar to ensure you are not fighting a mushroom on the pin. You can get a new collar and pin from any of the Model A suppliers
