Question: Stop Light Actuator & Brake Rods

Post by dlevy »

Hi,

I picked up 2 different stop light actuators, but could someone tell me which is correct for a 1931 AA 131" with a 4-speed?

The packages, shown below, both indicate 1931 which has me puzzled to know which is correct.

Also, both my service and parking brake rods that go from the peddle/handle to the respective cross shafts have some slight bends in them. Should I straighten them out or are the bends appropriate?

Thanks for any guidance.

Dave

The finger was used until September 1930 and the chain September 1930 to the end of production.

The break rod should be straight (like all A and AA chassis break rods).

And, yes to Bob C. answer to dates.
