The Walton's trucks

Post by mike c »

What model truck did Ralph Waite have on The Walton's tv show? On old reruns there seems to be two different trucks.

Mike you are right about the trucks on the show. The first truck was wrecked, they replayed it with another truck. A while later the wrecked was restored and was for sale in the Dallas area for $6000. I had a picture of the truck in the ad years ago. That's all I know of the truck!!! Shelby, Sacramento.

wow,,that google is cool (i'm not exactly a computer whiz)--- according to the website for the shows fans (who would have thought) the truck is a 29-30 aa. i saw a rerun last night and i saw wire wheels and a express type box. i know there were two trucks because i remember seeing a flat-bed sometimes on the truck on old episodes. i'm thinking it's a 29 because my 30 aa doesn't have the cool design on the back of the cab, or wire wheels.
