FYI - The frame is not "early 28". It is AA-5003 d2 (see http://aafords.com/aa-chassis/aa-5005-frame/).
Provide pictures of the front cross member. I know someone looking for the AA-5020 d1 cross member (see attached).

Pardon me for not knowing the differences between two different frames offered in 1928. I thought the left side brake handle indicated early 28. I'll get a photo today...

Here are some photos. Your link does not show the differences between AA-5020 cross member and the AA-5020-B but this one looks the same as your drawings. That is, in my uneducated eye...

Yes, that is the AA-5020 d1 front cross member. I send an email to Brian Jensen of Il and gave him a link to this thread. He might be interested in your frame since he needs that cross member for his project.
